Use one device for these local games. Choose Salt & Pepper Duo for simultaneous cooperation, or a turn-taking board game when you prefer to pass control between players. Local two-player is different from playing against a bot or joining people online.
| Game | Style or mode | Controls | What to expect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Salt & Pepper Duo | Local co-op or solo switching | WASD + arrows | Work together; touch co-op needs a wide screen |
| Reversi | Local turn-taking or bot | Click or tap a legal square | Take turns on an 8×8 board |
| Checkers | Local turn-taking or bot | Click or tap pieces and destinations | Capture and promote pieces |
| Tic-Tac-Toe Arena | Local turn-taking or bot | Click or tap a cell | A quick familiar board game |
For simultaneous keyboard co-op, give each player their own key group. For turn-taking games, choose the local two-player option; selecting a bot does not create a second human player. A phone can work for turn-taking, but keyboard cooperation is more comfortable on a larger shared screen.
